Riot Games has announced that the Game Changers EMEA will return to Istanbul for the third year in a row. The Stage 3 Grand Finals will take place on 30th August at ESA Esports Arena. Tickets will be available for purchase starting on 3rd August.
The Grand Finals will determine which EMEA teams will advance to the VALORANT Game Changers Championship in November. This event is the most high-stakes Game Changers event of the year for the region, bringing together the best teams from throughout the year. Last year, the EU teams did not make it to the top 4, so this time, teams will be looking to make a strong impression before facing off against American and Asian rivals in the end-of-year showdowns.
EMEA Game Changers: A Celebration for the Entire Valorant Community
This year, there is an added twist. The Grand Finals will coincide with the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals in Barcelona. Once the Game Changers EMEA Champion is crowned, the Istanbul arena will transform into an official VCT EMEA watch party. This offers great value for fans looking to enjoy a full day of Valorant content.
The event is also significant for women in esports. Tomek, Esports Product Manager for VALORANT at VCT EMEA, stated that Istanbul has become a “true home for VALORANT fans across the region.” The watch party is designed to make the Finals a celebration for the entire VALORANT community, providing a unique opportunity to watch all of Valorant Esports together in Istanbul.
Fans attending can look forward to meet and greets with Game Changers EMEA players before the Grand Final. There will also be appearances by creators, prize-winning activities, and the Grand Final itself will be broadcast live from the arena. ESA will once again serve as the tournament organizer for the third consecutive year.
The Game Changers EMEA has had a successful year, with Cash Cups and an expanding ecosystem creating more opportunities for players throughout 2026. The 30th of August is shaping up to be the biggest night of the season, with tickets going on sale on August 3rd. Some of the Game Changer players are even featured in the ENC teams, showcasing the ability for national teams to become mixed teams, as seen with Switzerland and Denmark.
