DreamHack has revealed the lineup of esports events for its inaugural UK festival, DreamHack Birmingham. The event, scheduled to take place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) from March 27th-29th, will feature over $1.7m in prize money across various competitions.

The weekend will showcase eight competitive titles, including ESL One for Dota 2, Call of Duty League (CDL) Major II, Halo competitions, and Road to the Esports World Cup qualifiers.

The highlight of the event was ESL One Birmingham 2026, which boasted a $1m prize pool and a lineup of 16 teams. Teams such as PARIVISION, Team Spirit, OG, Tundra Esports, Team Falcons, and Virtus.Pro were listed to compete.

Additionally, CDL Major II brought 12 franchised Call of Duty teams to the UK for a tournament with a $365,000 prize pool. Free seating for the competition was available with general DreamHack tickets, while dedicated CDL tickets offered guaranteed seating.

Other notable events included the Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series Birmingham LAN Finals, Halo competitions, and Road to the Esports World Cup 2026 qualifiers in FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, Street Fighter 6, and Trackmania.

Aside from esports, the Birmingham event also featured creator meet-and-greets, cosplay, an expo, and an indie games area. Ticket prices started at £25, with separate options available for ESL One and CDL for guaranteed seating.

DreamHack Birmingham was hailed as one of the largest single-location esports prize pools ever held in the UK. The event marked DreamHack’s first festival in the country, adding Birmingham to its 2026 calendar alongside cities like Dallas, Stockholm, and Atlanta.
