HoYoverse is set to launch Version 3.2 “Their Secret Histories” for its urban fantasy ARPG ‘Zenless Zone Zero’ on September 9.
The new version will introduce the exciting Agent Specialty known as “Armorer” for the very first time. This Specialty focuses on a combination of damage dealing and defense, utilizing the innovative “Maim” system and multi-CRIT mechanics.
During the initial phase of the update, players can look forward to the debut of S-Rank Electric Armorer Agent “Claret,” who leads the Flint Workshop. Claret is skilled at building up Residual Marks on foes and triggering Maim for additional damage, with her combat prowess revolving around Defense, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG.
Later in the update, S-Rank Wind Stun Agent “Roxy,” the chief artisan of Flint Workshop, will make an appearance. Roxy specializes in creating and detonating tornadoes centered around the “Eye of the Wind.” Additionally, S-Rank Agents “Nangong Yu” and “Promeia,” along with their signature W-Engines, will be featured in the first and second halves of the update, respectively.
The main story will see the Proxies heading to “Vyrium,” a special zone in the Shrouded Reef, to address the mutated power within their bodies. Here, they will delve into the missing Porcelloy incident involving Flint Workshop.
Players logging in during the version period will receive rewards of 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. By completing specific tasks in the 14-day check-in event “Surprise Screening Plan,” players can earn a valuable Angels of Delusion (AOD) outfit selector.
Various events such as “Diary of an Orbie Parent,” “Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow,” and “Shadow Chase Showdown” will be introduced sequentially. Additionally, the permanent content “Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel” will feature new Z-Rank valuables, character Gear, advanced challenges, server-wide rankings, and a season mission reset.
System enhancements are also on the way. The Beginner Guide for new Proxies will now include “Jane,” “Hugo,” and “Soldier 0 – Anby,” along with improvements for “Koleda” and optimization of the Perfect Assist trigger mechanism.
‘Zenless Zone Zero’ will be participating in “HoYoLAND 2026” from October 2 to 5 at Halls 7 and 8 of KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Ilsan. The event will be themed “Poetry Settled Beyond the Clouds,” with ticket giveaway retweet events and detailed program schedules to be announced at a later date.
