On the 26th, the Netmarble Cultural Foundation (led by Chairman Bang Jun-hyuk) announced that the preliminaries for the 2026 National e-Festival for Students with Disabilities will kick off on the 27th. This event is a collaboration between the National Institute of Special Education (headed by Director Kim Sun-mi) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (under Acting President Yoo Hyun-seok), with support from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
The National e-Festival for Students with Disabilities aims to utilize gaming’s functional advantages to enhance the self-esteem and sense of accomplishment of students with disabilities. It also helps them enhance their information literacy and develop healthy leisure habits. Netmarble has been a dedicated partner in this event, co-hosting it since 2009.

This year’s event will be held in person, with the preliminaries, semi-finals, and finals all happening on-site. The preliminaries will run from May 27 to July 10 nationwide, with around 3,000 participants vying for a spot in the semi-finals and finals. The main event, featuring those who advance from the preliminaries, will take place on September 8 and 9 at Sono Felice Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province.
The competition includes 18 categories in the information technology contest, such as robot coding, and 11 categories in the e-sports tournament, featuring games like MAGUMAGU Remastered and Everybody’s Marble. This year, the e-sports tournament has expanded to 11 categories, with the addition of the popular soccer game FC Online as an official event, generating significant interest among participants.
Established in 2018 with the objective of promoting a healthy gaming culture, nurturing future creative talent, and fostering a culture of sharing, the Netmarble Cultural Foundation actively engages in various specialized social contribution activities focused on building culture, nurturing talent, and sharing hearts.
