Teams participating in the LCK, which opens on the 1st of next month, selected Gen.G Esports as a strong candidate for the championship.

Nongshim coach Choi In-gyu responded at the LCK regular season media day held at Grand Seoul LoL Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 26th, saying, “I think Gen.G is a strong team because they showed a thorough performance.” Dplus Kia coach Kim Dae-ho predicted, “Gen.G is good in many areas, but he will be able to do even better after experiencing bad situations.”

T1 acting coach Lim Jae-hyun said, “I think it’s Gen.G. The Gen.G players are very good. I think they’re a contender for the championship.” Hanjin Brion coach Kim Sang-soo responded, “Gen.G is good at many things in many areas.”

Other team coaches also mentioned Gen.G. KT Rolster coach Ko Dong-bin said, “Gen. In response, Gen.G coach Yoo Sang-wook did not let down his guard, saying, “I think T1 is doing well,” and “I think T1 always performs well.”
