NC (co-CEOs Kim Taek-jin and Park Byung-moo) has introduced ‘Lamus,’ a new Arc Boss in the upcoming region ‘Nyx’ for their MMORPG ‘THRONE AND LIBERTY’ (developed by FirstSpark Games, CEO Choi Moon-young, referred to as TL hereafter).
From today (the 28th), players can take on the challenge of facing the new Arc Boss, ‘Ramus.’ Ramus marks the debut of a mountable Arc Boss in TL. The battle involves both the humanoid Ramus and the dragon ‘Atirat.’
The humanoid Ramus embodies the essence of a war goddess, wielding a long blue spear and an orb, showcasing skills like sword energy projectiles, powerful lightning attacks, and charges. On the other hand, the dragon Atirat unleashes breath and physical attacks on the ground and airborne breath assaults.
The boss encounter is divided into two phases. In Phase 1, Lamus fights while riding Atirat, with the dragon executing flight maneuvers during the battle. Players can utilize the formidable mountable weapon ‘Dragon-Piercing Spear’ to inflict substantial damage on Atirat. Once Atirat is defeated, the enraged Lamus transitions the battle into Phase 2.
An update celebration event is currently ongoing. NC is hosting the ‘Arc Boss Double-Up’ event until August 13, doubling the frequency of Arc Boss appearances. Throughout the event, Arc Bosses, including Ramus, will make appearances on Tuesdays and Fridays. Additionally, the new Challenge Dimension, ‘Cradle of the Iron Cat,’ has been unveiled.
