Bilibili Gaming’s (BLG) ‘Viper’ Park Do-hyeon looked forward to a meal with Hanwha Life Esports ‘Kumayushi’ Min-hyung Lee.
BLG is currently in 3rd place in the ongoing LPL Split 2 ranking group with 3 wins and 1 loss, following TES (4 wins, 1 loss, +6) and Invictus Gaming (3 wins, 1 loss, +4).
In an interview with Chinese e-sports media Wan Plus, Park Do-hyun said, “My personal goal is to win the championship with my teammates. And I want to go to the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) in my hometown of Daejeon,” adding, “The recent practice process is also good,” and shared his recent status.
Park Do-hyun’s Chinese skills have been known for a long time. When asked if he speaks Korean with his teammates at BLG, he said, “The team members don’t speak Korean. Even if they speak words like ‘delicious,’ they do.”
When asked how long he would be able to continue his active career, he said, “I have thought about it before. When I first started playing professionally, I thought about how many years I would be able to play. These days, there are more experienced players. I think I can play a little longer, too.” He talked about the changed situation.
Gen.G Esports ‘Chovy’ Jeong Ji-hoon said in a recent interview, ‘I haven’t been in contact with Viper recently, but I feel closer than before.’ Park Do-hyun explained, “We haven’t had a chance to be together since 2019. That doesn’t mean our relationship is bad. We (inevitably) naturally grew apart, but I think I’ll feel close to them when we meet again.”
Park Do-hyun said with a smile that Lee Min-hyeong of Hanwha Life Esports’ Kumayushi said in a recent interview, “I want to eat together and become friends,” and said, “I don’t know what to eat. I guess I can eat whatever I want. It’s nice to eat together.”
At the same time, in response to the ‘Kumayushi’ question about how to quickly become friends with team members, he added, “I think if you work together for a long time, you naturally become friends.”
Lastly, Park Do-hyun said, “It’s early in the season, but I really want to go to MSI,” and pledged, “I will work hard so I can be seen at MSI.”
