Nexon has revealed that advance ticket sales for the animated film ‘Dear My Hero’, based on the popular online game MapleStory, will kick off on the 8th of June.
‘Dear My Hero’ follows the story of Aidan, a fresh recruit of the Cygnus Order of Knights. The official premiere is set for June 14 at Lotte Cinema venues nationwide. The advance ticket sales will start on the 8th, gradually opening for each theater through the official Lotte Cinema website and mobile app.
To celebrate the release, various events are planned. Viewers can receive special gifts by presenting their ticket at Lotte Cinema ticket offices or concession stands on the screening day. Additionally, a ‘Dear My Hero’ special art card will be handed out for two weeks starting June 14, with more weekly perks to be announced on the official website and the Lotte Cinema website. Moviegoers will also get a special coupon for exclusive Cygnus Order of Knights items and a ‘Dear My Hero’ medal item during the screening period.
Starting June 13, combo sets featuring figure keycaps and keyrings will be available at theaters while supplies last, and later on the Lotte Cinema Naver Smart Store from the 15th. From June 14 to July 12, ‘Dear My Hero’ special photo frames will be offered at ‘Film Hanjan’ on the 5th floor of Lotte Cinema World Tower, along with a special photo zone until June 21.
Moreover, from June 13 to July 12, a grand statue exhibition showcasing the Transcendents of Grandis, including Gerne Darmore and the Eight Apostles, will take place at Cine Park on the 7th floor of Lotte Cinema World Tower.
On June 14, a ‘Dear My Hero’-themed cinema store will open on the 7th floor of Lotte Cinema World Tower, offering a variety of merchandise such as Cygnus Order of Knights cloaks, animation postcard books, and original art postcards. New items like adventurer figures, Apostle diorama acrylic stands, and Apostle mini cushion keyrings will also be available. Customers spending a certain amount at the store will receive a Pink Bean fan and a Pink Bean reusable bag on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, presenting a store receipt will grant a 20% discount on beverages at the Gong Cha on the 7th floor, along with a ‘Dear My Hero’ cup sleeve.
