Infinity Ward has unveiled a multiplayer trailer ahead of the beta test for Modern Warfare 4.
On the 20th, the official Call of Duty YouTube channel released a three-minute trailer showcasing gameplay footage of the multiplayer mode. The video highlighted various elements, such as room-clearing combat with shorty shotguns, firefights using K2 rifles, and combat featuring Apex attachments and killstreaks.
Notably, with South Korea as a main setting in this title, many elements familiar to Korean players are included. Alongside battlefields set in Korea and the K2 rifle, a “Police Shield” is introduced as a riot shield. The shield’s surface also displays the Hangul text, “Designed and manufactured in Korea.”
Meanwhile, ‘Modern Warfare 4’ has released its multiplayer trailer and will kick off ‘Call of Duty: NEXT’ on the 22nd—a showcase offering detailed information about the game—and provide early access to the beta for pre-order customers. Players will have the opportunity to try out not only multiplayer but also a single campaign mission and a Warzone map ahead of time—a first for the Call of Duty series.
‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’ is set for a global release on October 23, supporting PS5, Xbox, and PC (Steam and Battle.net) platforms.
