Qookka Games revealed on August 31 its upcoming launch of “Byeongyeon Chunqiu,” an exclusive scenario for the mobile strategy game “Three Kingdoms Tactics,” set to debut on September 5. In preparation for the release, the developer also unveiled a “Dev Prologue” video detailing the inspiration and creative process behind the new content.
“Byeongyeon Chunqiu” is a unique scenario crafted from the strategies and lineups of players on the global server. The development team engaged in extensive discussions and simulations to provide players with fresh lineups and tactics beyond the standard gameplay.
A key feature is the “Troop Modification” system, allowing players to enhance or alter 16 special troop types, with the possibility of converting certain troops into others. Each troop type offers four modification slots with three options per slot, resulting in a staggering 1,296 potential combinations.
Players can also utilize “Policy Essentials” to select government decree buffs, such as increased resource acquisition speed, boosts to officer attributes, and special battlefield effects.
To mark the 40th anniversary of Koei Tecmo’s “Romance of the Three Kingdoms” series, a new global server-exclusive officer named “40th Anniversary Lu Bu” will be introduced. This officer will be available to all players upon the launch of “Byeongyeon Chunqiu.”
Additionally, the “Dev Prologue” video hinted at a second global original season following the release of “Byeongyeon Chunqiu.”
