‘Neverness to Everness’ (NTE), a supernatural urban open world RPG developed by Hotta Studio under Perfect World, released its version 1.2 second-half update on the 29th. The update focuses on introducing the new S-rank character ‘Eloy’ along with new costumes, a limited-time Arc, and various events like auctions and fishing.
Eloy was initially introduced in the ‘Corridor of Dreams’ chapter as a volunteer helping the protagonist adjust to Sunrise Island. She is a colleague of Mint and Shinku from the Paranormal Management Bureau’s Containment Team 2. In this update, she debuts as a playable character through the limited-time board ‘Lifeline’.
In battles, Eloy acts as a Spirit-attribute healer and buffer. Her unique ability allows her to create dream spaces and attack enemies alongside three sheep. Her Ultimate move, ‘Gate of Dreams’, can either heal allies continuously or deal damage to enemies based on the combat situation.
Eloy also provides interesting interactions during open world exploration. Players can interact with animals to obtain random growth items, which can be done up to 999 times. Additionally, a new swimsuit costume for Eloy has been added, along with limited-edition gliders and liveries through the limited-time board.
The limited-time research recruitment plan ‘Gate of Dreams Special’ is currently ongoing, increasing the drop rate for the limited S-rank Arc ‘Forbidden Gate’. Players can also earn up to 10 ‘Dice of Truth’ as a 7-day cumulative login reward.
New users can benefit from character support rewards. Those who create a character and activate the mail function before the version 1.2 deadline will receive a permanent S-rank character selection chest, offering a chance to secure their desired S-rank character.
Additionally, the ‘Land Grab’ auction event and the ‘Fishing Operation’ event utilizing fishing content will take place consecutively. Detailed schedules and participation requirements for each event will be communicated through in-game notices and official channels.
‘Neverness to Everness’ is accessible on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Samsung Galaxy Store.
