KingKong Soft has officially launched ‘Star of the Overlord M’ in the domestic market on the 26th. This mobile traditional martial arts RPG is based on the immensely popular novel by author Gang Ho-pung, which has garnered over 100 million cumulative views.
The newly released title, Star of the Overlord M, faithfully brings to life the expansive world and compelling narrative of the original work. With the motto, “A martial arts epic with 100 million views, transcending legend to become myth,” the game captures the essence and immersion of traditional martial arts in a modern mobile setting. It seamlessly weaves in key characters and iconic scenes from the novel into the gameplay, while focusing on combat centered around legendary martial arts techniques and forms to deliver the genre’s characteristic visceral impact. Players can enjoy cultivating their own characters within the martial arts realm by utilizing various skill combinations and the “fated encounter” (Gi-yeon) system.
