Wemade (CEO Park Kwan-ho) has introduced new PvP content to its MMORPG “Legend of Ymir” today (20th) – the “Arena Ranked Match.”
“Arena Ranked Match” is a seasonal competitive feature where players can earn points through 3v3 battles to progress through leagues and tiers. The first season will run for eight weeks, starting today until October 15. After completing five placement matches, players will receive their initial rank and tier, competing against others for rankings.
Victory in matches is determined by either wiping out the opposing team or having more surviving members when time expires. The arena will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to midnight, with three free entry tickets provided daily. Additional tickets can be earned by completing daily quests, missions, and achievements.
Players will receive abundant rewards based on their performance, including PvP-focused items such as “Seals of Duel” and the exclusive currency “Tokens of Duel.” “Tokens of Duel” can be traded for essential items like “Legendary Equipment Material Chest I” and “Master’s Parchment.” Additionally, Wemade has organized various events to help players progress swiftly.
One ongoing event is the “Dew at Summer’s End” hunting event, where players can hunt monsters in the Hall of Valkyrie, Temple of Chaos, and Folkvangr to acquire crafting materials “Red, Yellow, and Blue Dew.” These can be used to craft “Sigrun’s Memory Fragments,” which can then be exchanged for legendary-grade Valkyries, Disir, Horns, and more.
Another event, the “Sigurd’s Hidden Gift Box,” allows players to obtain items like “Noble Hero Horn” and “Master’s Parchment” using the in-game currency, Silver.
For players who have been inactive for 7 days or more, a “Returning Warrior 30-Day Check-in Event” has been set up. Depending on the number of days checked in, returning players will receive powerful items like the “+10 Regin Full Equipment Set Package” and “Hero Valkyrie Selection Chest.”
Starting August 27, players can enjoy various benefits through the “14-Day Challenge Check-in Event.” Additionally, there will be an event where players can craft runes using materials collected from hunting or gathering, add them to their collection, and improve their stats.
