From April 1st to April 5th, the action unfolded at LoL Park’s LCK Arena in Seoul, South Korea. Surprising many, the first week ended with six teams holding a 1-1 record, with KT Rolster stealing the spotlight.

KT Rolster made a strong statement by securing wins over T1 and Gen.G. They started by sweeping T1 2-0 on April 1st, avenging their previous loss in the LCK Cup. The team’s top laner, Lee Seung-min aka ‘Perfect’, played a crucial role in the victory, particularly shining on champions like Jayce and Vayne.

Continuing their winning streak, KT Rolster took down Gen.G in a hard-fought series on April 3rd, clinching a 2-1 win. Mid laner Kwak ‘Bdd’ Bo-seong made a pivotal Baron steal during a late-game clash, contributing to the team’s success.

With impressive victories against top-tier opponents, KT Rolster climbed to second place in the standings, setting the stage for an exciting week two.

Meanwhile, T1 bounced back from their initial defeat by defeating Hanwha Life Esports 2-0 on April 4th, bringing their record to 1-1 for the week. This win also leveled Hanwha Life Esports’ standing after their opening victory against OKSavingsBank BRION.

T1 showcased resilience in the series, dominating the first game and staging a comeback in the second, led by Moon ‘Oner’ Hyeon-jun and Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok.

Oner’s standout performances on Xin Zhao and Lee Sin earned him Player of the Match honors and marked his 300th career LCK win, a significant milestone in his career.

The clash between Oner and Hanwha Life Esports’ bot laner Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyung added an extra layer of excitement to the match, with Oner expressing mutual respect for his counterpart.

Despite KT Rolster’s strong start, the league table remained tightly contested after week one, with Nongshim RedForce leading the pack with two 2-0 victories. Gen.G held a slight edge in set differential, with several teams boasting 1-1 records.

As the competition intensifies in week two, fans can expect more thrilling matchups as teams vie for the top spot in the 2026 LCK standings.

The 2026 LCK regular season unfolds from Wednesday to Sunday each week, featuring two matches per day. Fans can catch the action live on streaming platforms like Chzzk and SOOP, with on-site attendance available through NOL Ticket nine days prior to each match.
