BNK lost to BLG 2-3 in the opening match of the First Stand held at ‘Riot Games Sao Paulo’ in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 16th (Korean time). BNK, who lost, will face the losers of G2 Esports and Team Secret Wales in the Group A loser’s bracket of the group stage to advance to the final match.
BNK, who was completely defeated in the first set, could not stop ‘Night’ Zuoding’s Aurora in the second set. BNK aimed for the top in the 14th minute, but two people were killed by ‘Knight’ Zuoding, and BNK also suffered losses in the mid team fight in the 17th minute.
However, BNK achieved a landslide victory in the mid-mid battle, following the bottom, with ‘Raptor’ Jeon Jin-jin’s Napiri at the center. In the 23rd minute of the battle, with the bottom line cleared, BNK gave up the Baron to BLG.
In the 25-minute mid-game battle, Nam Dae-geun’s Jinx scored a pentakill, and BNK pushed ahead and destroyed BLG’s twin turrets and nexus, bringing the game back to square one.
BNK was caught in an invasion situation early in the 3rd set by Lee Dae-gwang (“Big La”). At the bottom, BNK, who lost two people to ‘Sheen’ Feng Li-xun’s Wukong, continued their fierce battle with BLG until the mid-game.
BNK, who secretly succeeded in obtaining the Baron, scored an ace in the ensuing battle, with Lee Dae-gwang (“Big La”) recording a quadra kill. BNK, who started rolling the snowball, captured all five BLG players in the 32-minute mid battle. BNK, who gained victory, entered the opponent’s base, destroyed the Nexus, and took a 2-1 lead.
BNK, unable to stop ‘Sheen’ Feng Li-xun’s Maokai in the 4th set, began to fall from the top in the 5th set. However, BNK, who had 4 kills in the 14-minute battle at the top, suffered a crushing defeat in the 20-minute mid-game battle, including giving up a triple kill to Caitlyn of Do-Hyeon “Viper” Park.
BNK, who had more than 8,000 points in Global Gold, fell to their knees after losing the 2nd turret battle in mid-game in the 33rd minute.
