NightByte Games has officially launched its first-person horror roguelite game, It Has My Face, on Steam after exiting Early Access. Version 1.0 comes with expanded multiplayer features and a special crossover event with Dead by Daylight.
The game has maintained its Early Access price of $9.99 (~£7.85), with the launch of Version 1.0 offering a 20% discount. Dead by Daylight publisher, Behaviour Interactive, collaborated on the release campaign as well.
Set in a dystopian world centered around paranoia and mistaken identity, It Has My Face challenges players to hunt down their own clone before meeting their demise. Each playthrough alters the player’s appearance, body, and gameplay mechanics, creating a deception-focused roguelite experience.
Version 1.0 concludes the game’s narrative with two final chapters, introducing new monsters, mutators, and environments. Additionally, the update includes a final showdown that delves deeper into the player character’s backstory and the game’s world.
Multiplayer mode, previously limited to one-on-one matches, now supports up to eight players across Team Deathmatch and Free for All modes. In these matches, all players share the same appearance, requiring players to rely on behavior and intuition to identify opponents.
Behaviour Interactive is offering Dead by Daylight players two exclusive in-game banners through the game’s inbox for a month starting April 3rd. To celebrate the full release, It Has My Face is bundled with Dead by Daylight, with both titles receiving a 10% discount as part of the promotion.
This release is a significant milestone for NightByte Games, a studio founded by brothers Salih and Furkan. With a history of over 40 game launches in various genres, the duo has been developing It Has My Face since 2022. The studio is also recognized for their title, Samurai Survivors.
For Behaviour Interactive, this launch adds another project to their portfolio led by Dead by Daylight. Established in 1992, the Canadian game developer notes that their flagship horror game has amassed nearly 70 million players since its debut in 2016.
It Has My Face is now available on Steam.
