Infold Games recently unveiled Version 2.4 of Infinity Nikki, bringing a fresh story chapter, combat enhancements, and open-world building elements to the popular dress-up game. The update, titled “The Forest Need Not Listen,” introduces the first time-loop narrative chapter in Infinity Nikki’s storyline, delving into darker fairy tale themes.
In this latest chapter, players join Nikki and Momo as they venture into the mysterious Misty Forest, where a haunting funeral scene plays out repeatedly, adding to the intrigue of the forest’s curse. Along the way, they encounter intriguing characters like the ‘Mad Red Riding Hood’ and the ‘Big Dark Wolf.’
Version 2.4 also introduces expanded combat features, allowing players to face off against a formidable new boss, the ‘Scavenger,’ in a dynamic battle with changing arenas and intense close-range combat. Additionally, players can now deploy Momo as a battle companion, utilizing different cloaks to switch between close-range and ranged roles.
The update also includes a new five-star Resonance Outfit called “She Is Wildfire,” inspired by a darker interpretation of Little Red Riding Hood. This outfit grants players the ability to summon the Moon-Hunting Wolf in battle with the ‘Hunting Elegy: Battle Companion’ skill, offering both combat support and traversal assistance outside of battles.
Furthermore, Version 2.4 introduces a new construction and management system in Itzaland, allowing players to build and customize various establishments such as beauty salons, baths, and drink shops using the ‘Itzaland Blueprint: Construction’ ability. Players can oversee these businesses, earn income, and unlock rewards through upgrades, as well as recruit and train NPCs to manage shops.
This update signifies another significant content expansion for Infinity Nikki, a unique game blending platforming, puzzle-solving, dress-up, and exploration elements. Developed by Infold Games, the title is part of the popular Nikki series and is available across various platforms including PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Infold Games, the international brand under Papergames, is also actively working on other projects like “Ballad of Antara” and “Project: The Perceiver.”
