Nexon recently filed a trademark for a new installment in the Dungeon & Fighter IP that was previously hinted at.
The application for the name ‘Dungeon & Fighter: Idle’ was submitted to the Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS) on June 30. This title is the one Nexon mentioned during its Tokyo Capital Markets Briefing (CMB) back in March. Neople has also filed for an English trademark for ‘Dungeon & Fighter: Idle RPG.’ Both trademarks are currently pending examination and align with the game titles discussed at the CMB.
‘Dungeon & Fighter: Idle’ is a new idle RPG set in the Dungeon & Fighter universe, with a planned release later this year. Developed by Nexon Games, the game aims to offer a casual and user-friendly experience, similar to MapleStory: Idle. As revealed during the Tokyo CMB, the goal is to attract new and casual players to the franchise, alongside the existing core fanbase.
Specific details about ‘Dungeon & Fighter: Idle’ have not yet been disclosed. Nexon Games is also working on ‘Dungeon & Fighter: Arad,’ an open-world action RPG based on the same IP.
