KT Rolster has set a groundbreaking record in the 2026 LCK season with an impressive winning streak of 8 consecutive victories. This achievement marks a new chapter in the history of the team, showcasing their dominance in the league.
The Path to Success
In the 4th week of the 2026 LCK, KT Rolster faced tough competitors in the form of Kiwoom DRX and BNK PeerX. Despite the challenges, KT emerged victorious in both matches with a commanding 2-0 set score, solidifying their position at the top of the LCK standings. This remarkable feat represents the team’s first 8-game winning streak since its inception 14 years ago.
This exceptional winning streak can be attributed to the stellar performances of key players such as Kwak ‘BDD’ Bo-seong, renowned as one of the top four mid laners in the LCK, and top laner Lee ‘Perfect’ Seung-min, who has shown remarkable growth this season. Additionally, the strategic guidance of coach Ko Dong-bin and the contributions of jungler Moon ‘Cuzz’ Woo-chan and supporter ‘Effort’ Lee Sang-ho have played a crucial role in KT’s success.
In an official interview, coach Ko Dong-bin and jungler Moon ‘Cuzz’ Woo-chan highlighted the positive impact of ‘Effort’ Lee Sang-ho on the team’s performance, emphasizing his role in enhancing the team’s operational speed and response to opponents.
Looking Ahead
As KT Rolster continues its impressive run in the 2026 LCK season, the team is setting its sights on achieving another milestone by winning all rounds of the league. With Hanwha Life Esports, the second-ranked team in the LCK, as their final opponent in the first round, KT is poised to showcase their dominance and further solidify their position as a powerhouse in the league.
