KT Rolster’s Bo-seong “BDD” Kwak, who finished the first week by defeating Gen.G Esports following T1, cited the joining of Lee Sang-ho “Effort” as the reason for his winning streak.

KT defeated Gen.G 2-1 in the 1st week of the LCK match held at the LCK Arena at Gran Seoul LoL Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 3rd. KT, who won on the opening day against T1, also succeeded in defeating Gen.G.

Kwak Bo-seong, who received the POM, said, “It was an unexpected result. I was so shocked,” and expressed his feelings about winning his second consecutive win in the opening game. Following T1, they also captured Gen.G. He said, “After ‘Effort’ Lee Sang-ho participated in the scrimmage, the practice process was good. I think it continued well. (Lee) Sang-ho clearly has a long experience in competitions. He is not nervous and talks well.”

He said that he expected a POM after stealing the Baron in the first set, but the third set was very difficult. He said, “The second set was okay, but mistakes were made from the beginning, so it was difficult. We talked a lot about ban picks. The third set was difficult in laning, and I said I should just participate well in teamfights, but my teammates showed a good performance.”

Regarding the match against the next opponent, Nongshim Red Force, Kwak Bo-seong said, “I saw that they played well in the game. I think we can bring good results if we prepare well,” and pledged, “I will do well in the match against Nongshim so that we can continue our winning streak.”
