Get ready for an electrifying showdown at the 2026 Korea Esports League (KEL) FC Mobile finals set to take place in Busan on the 28th. The Korea Esports Association, dedicated to fostering local esports talents and enhancing regional competitiveness, revealed that the ultimate winner of this year’s KEL FC Mobile event will be crowned in Busan.
A Platform for Growth and Development
Launched last year, KEL aims to provide a platform for players to gain practical experience, develop professional skills, and create job opportunities. Now in its second year, KEL has expanded its reach to include offline games in Busan, Gwangju, Jinju, Gyeongnam, and Daejeon, collaborating with local esports arenas to nurture talent.
The 2026 KEL FC Mobile event finals kicked off on May 16 and ran until June 14. With representatives from 12 regions, a total of 24 participants competed fiercely, with only the top 2 from each group advancing to the finals. Among the finalists are seasoned players like GJ Maestro Kim Tae-hyun, Daejeon Tom and Jerry Kim Tae-ho, and Jeonnam Esports Yoo Chang-ho, the reigning champion from last year.
The Road to Victory
Yoo Chang-ho, the defending champion, displayed remarkable performance in this year’s event, securing his spot in the finals after an impressive run. With 9 wins, 1 loss, and only 21 goals conceded in a challenging Group D, Yoo Chang-ho is poised to defend his title and claim victory once again.
The grand finale of the 2026 KEL FC Mobile will be held at Busan Esports Stadium on the 27th and 28th, where the ultimate champion will be awarded the prestigious Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award along with a cash prize of 10 million won. Excitingly, the top two finalists will represent Korea in the FC PRO Mobile Mid-Season, showcasing their skills on the national stage.
