The Pokémon Company has joined forces with luxury property brand NOT A HOTEL and the creators of Pokémon Sleep to bring a real-life, sleepable Poké Ball to life. This oversized spherical pod, set amidst the beautiful forests of Hokkaido, Japan, offers a high-end, cozy retreat unlike any other.
Bringing a Luxury Ball to Reality
Rather than a typical hotel room, this project introduces a massive red-and-white sphere right into nature.
Inspired by the idea that Poké Balls are relaxing spaces for rest and rejuvenation, the pod features a large circular bed for two, a discreet entrance, and a sizable viewing window overlooking the Hokkaido wilderness. It’s more akin to a real-world Luxury Ball than just a basic starting item.
Securing a Stay Inside
You won’t find this unique experience on a regular booking site. Stays in this exclusive, one-of-a-kind structure are available through a special campaign system.
Only selected winners will have the chance to spend a night in the Poké Ball, making it a truly rare opportunity. The exact location in the Hokkaido wilderness and details on how to participate in the campaign will be revealed on September 15 through Pokémon Sleep.
