WoW Forever beta has received a major patch featuring Level 30, a new dungeon, and reduced XP from dungeon quests. Here are the complete patch notes:

Previously, the level cap was 20, but after the maintenance on October 1, beta testers can now level up to 30. This update introduces a new dungeon, two classic instances, and various class changes.

Level 30 and a Dungeon That Never Existed in the Original

The significant change is the increase in the level cap from 20 to 30, unlocking new zones like the Foothills of the Hillsbrad, the Wetlands, and the Stoneclaw Mountains.

The Wetlands now feature the new “Excavation Site: Wetlands” dungeon, accessible from level 26 onwards. Additionally, classic dungeons like the Hills of the Bladeforge (level 25) and Uldaman (level 30) are now unlocked. The Dalaran dungeon is scheduled for a future beta update.

One notable change is the reduction of 50% in bonus XP from dungeon quests, aimed at balancing leveling speed. Quest rewards have also been adjusted accordingly.

Druids undergo significant changes with the removal of Tiger’s Fury and the introduction of a new talent, Shifting Power. Bears and Warriors generate more Rage on critical hits, while Fury Warriors face trade-offs with their off-hand.

Various bug fixes and updates have been implemented, including improved visibility in rain, removal of the “Ray-Traced Shadows” option, adjustments to weapon sizes, and more.

Important Updates in World of Warcraft: Forever

Attention all players, please note that the following changes will only affect the off-hand:

  • “Aura of Retribution” will now utilize the target’s spell power instead of the paladin’s.
  • Players attempting to collect Taillasher eggs for the quest “A Few Eggs Broken” may notice that the eggs are not respawning as quickly as intended. Rest assured, this issue will be resolved in an upcoming update.
  • It has come to our attention that Anduin Wrynn and several other children have been mistakenly equipped with hats. Our team is working hard to remove the hats, but the children seem to find it amusing and keep running away. Please bear with us as we address this playful situation.
