Q. What are your thoughts on facing DK in Round 2?
With a busy schedule of tournaments, there hasn’t been much time for rest, so I’ve been focusing on managing my health. The recent loss to DK added more pressure to this match. Nevertheless, I am giving my all to adapt to the current schedule and perform at my best.
Q. Was it challenging, considering the recent loss in the EWC qualifiers?
The defeat in the EWC qualifiers against DK felt like a missed opportunity. In today’s match, I sensed a strong momentum from our opponents.
Q. Can you share your thoughts on your trip to Vietnam?
The weather in Vietnam was not as scorching as I expected. The food was delightful, and the overall environment was so well-prepared that I did not feel fatigued at all. The fans at the venue displayed remarkable passion. I have fond memories of the fan meeting from last year, and if given the chance to visit again this year, I aim to immerse myself in the local culture even more.
Q. Would you like to participate in the roadshow again, not as a guest, but as a host?
Reflecting on my previous experience, I recall it being incredibly enjoyable. Performing on a grand stage during the regular season is a valuable experience, and since fans invest significant resources to attend, I believe we should deliver performances and entertainment beyond just the game itself. Admittedly, this is not my forte, so it does feel a bit daunting (laughs). Nonetheless, I find comfort in having teammates who excel in this aspect.
Q. Game 1 saw a stellar performance by Sion. The match appeared to center around both teams persistently targeting Caitlyn and Irelia, correct?
Once the dynamics in the bottom lane faltered, recovery proved challenging. As Sion, I made concerted efforts to assist Caitlyn in bouncing back. While things did not unfold exactly as planned, our collective efforts enabled us to turn the tide.
Q. How satisfied were you with the Yorick vs. Jayce matchup?
From Yorick’s perspective, the opponent’s composition posed a challenge. Dealing with Twisted Fate and Nocturne proved arduous. While the in-game situation was not dire, it became considerably tougher following my demise while attempting to bait out the first Nocturne ultimate.
