Who is favored to win VCT 2026: Americas Stage 1?
NRG — The Team to Watch
Following a strong third-place finish at Masters Santiago, NRG is considered a top contender in the region. With a roster comprising players like Ethan “Ethan” Arnold, Adam “mada” Pampuch, Brock “brawk” Somerhalder, Logan “skuba” Jenkins, and Georgio “keiko” Sanassy, they have displayed remarkable synergy and consistency. Entering Group Omega as favorites, NRG’s path to Masters London seems assured if they maintain their current level of performance.
G2 Esports — Combining Stability with Ambition
G2 narrowly missed a podium finish in Santiago, coming in fourth, but they lead the region in Championship Points. With a strong lineup led by players such as Alexander “jawgemo” Mor and Nathan “leaf” Orf, they are eager to prove that their performance in Chile was no fluke. Heading into Stage 1, they are arguably the most balanced and tactically sound team in the league.
FURIA — Reigning Regional Champions
The Brazilians surprised everyone by clinching the top seed during the Americas Kickoff. While their showing at Masters Santiago may not have met expectations, they still hold the most points from their Kickoff victory. If they can recapture their early-season form, they stand a real chance of defeating the North American powerhouses once again.
