Riot Games has announced a range of new content and player activities leading up to the release of Teamfight Tactics (TFT) set ‘Gods of the Universe’.

Players had the opportunity to preview the new set on TFT’s Public Beta Environment (PBE), featuring champions with a god-inspired theme and the new ‘Sanctuary of the Gods’ reward system. The launch of the set was scheduled for Wednesday, the 15th.

Riot Games also introduced a dedicated event page to help players familiarize themselves with the new set both during the PBE phase and after its official release.

The event page included the ‘God-given Guide’ section featuring content from TFT creators like Jeonsseut, Gorapadoong, and Lolchegozzi, who shared key mechanics and gameplay tips. Players could also assess their playstyle and earn rewards through the ‘God of the Universe Test Event’, starting on Wednesday, the 8th.

Riot mentioned plans to continue hosting events post-launch. Registration for a TFT amateur tournament associated with the new set was set to open on Wednesday, the 15th.

Starting from Friday, the 17th, players could participate in events like the ‘Play of the Gods Event’ and the ‘God-Possessed Ranking Event’, with rewards up for grabs. One promotion offered players the chance to win prizes by playing a single match.

Teamfight Tactics is Riot Games’ autobattler strategy game set in the League of Legends universe. The game frequently introduces new sets to refresh its champion pool, traits, and gameplay systems, often accompanied by themed events and creator-led guides to help players grasp the format.
