ONIC has established itself as a powerhouse in MLBB esports, while Aurora Gaming, despite being a newer addition to the scene, made a name for themselves by winning the M7 World Championship.
This match not only set a new viewership record for an MPL Philippines Play-In match but also marked a significant 73% increase from the peak viewership of Season 17’s Group Stage, which was 662,838 Peak Viewers during ONIC Philippines’ match against Team Falcons PH.

Promisingly for MPL Philippines, Team Liquid PH remains in the competition and is gearing up to face ONIC Philippines in the upper bracket final. Although Aurora Philippines drew significant viewership, Team Liquid PH holds a higher position in popularity, generating more interest and viewership akin to ONIC Philippines.
Given the substantial fan bases of both Team Liquid and ONIC in the Philippines, their upcoming upper bracket match could potentially break more viewership records for MPL Philippines.
