The VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 grand final reached a peak of over 305.3K viewers, marking one of the lowest viewership numbers in the history of the regional league. Following a long period of dominance, VCT Pacific fell behind VCT Americas in terms of Peak Viewers, losing its position as the most popular regional league in Valorant.

VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 broadcasts accumulated a total of 22.5 million Hours Watched, showing a 10% increase from the previous Pacific Stage 1 earlier in the year. However, Average Viewers saw a decline of 20.5%, while Peak Viewers dropped by 42.8%.

This decline can be attributed to the early exit of Paper Rex, a team that drew a significant portion of the league’s audience. Despite winning Stage 1 and generating substantial viewer interest, Paper Rex failed to make it to the top four in Stage 2.

Another contributing factor was the noticeable decrease in viewership across various broadcast languages. Average Viewers on English-language streams went down from 46K to 31.3K, while Vietnamese and Indonesian broadcasts saw a 50% decrease. These languages play a crucial role in the Pacific region, not just in Valorant but also in other esports titles.

The drop in audience affected both official broadcasts and prominent community casters. For instance, the official VCT Pacific YouTube channel experienced a 33.5% decrease in Average Viewers compared to the previous stage. Similarly, channels of Pujan “GOFNS” Mehta and Hashimoto “bijusan” Ren, two well-known Valorant community casters, also saw significant declines.

Earlier in the year, the situation was different, with Pacific leading all regions and boasting nearly double the peak audience of Americas.
