FN Sejong took first place on the second day of the KEL (2026 Korea e-Sports League) Battleground Mobile finals after showing off their might by winning chickens in three consecutive matches on the Erangel battlefield.
FN Sejong accumulated a huge amount of points by recording 6 kill chicken in Match 2, 20 kill chicken in Match 3, and 10 kill chicken in Match 4 held in Erangel on the 2nd day of the 2026 KEL Battleground Mobile final held at the Gyeongnam Esports Permanent Stadium in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do on the 19th.
◆Gyeonggi Nongshim Red Force, Day 2 Match 1 Chicken… Chungnam CNJ took the sole lead with 22 kills.
In the first match on the second day of the KEL Battleground Mobile finals, Chungnam CNJ showed off its powerful firepower and earned the most points.
Chungnam CNJ, which had left some disappointment by ranking 10th in the first day of the match the previous day, swept up many kills from the beginning in the match 1 held in Rondo, racking up a whopping 22 kills. Chungnam CNJ cruised by maintaining 4 players until they had 14 kills, and in the final 5-way match, they even had the luck of a magnetic field and added kills until the last minute.
Chungnam CNJ failed to obtain the chicken due to a fatality in the ongoing battle, but scored 27 points, the most in Match 1, by adding 5 ranking points to 22 kills.

FN Sejong got off to a good start by winning a 4-on-4 match against Gyeongbuk Revenant Nova and scoring 4 kills. FN Sejong added 30 points in match 3 with 20 kill chickens, rising to the sole lead with a total of 60 points. Chungnam CNJ ranked second with 37 points, and Gyeonggi Nongshim Red Force ranked third with 32 points.
◆FN Sejong wins three consecutive chickens and becomes the ‘King of Erangel’

FN Sejong had a quiet start in Match 4, the final match held in Erangel. The plan was to fight in the mid to late stages without engaging in early combat or changing positions significantly.
FN Sejong’s choice was correct. In Match 2 and Match 3, FN Sejong, who had the luck of the magnetic field and won consecutive chickens, maintained the center of the safe zone until the end of the game while the magnetic field changed several times.
FN Sejong was in the best situation where as long as they maintained a good position, other teams would fight each other and be eliminated, and their ranking score would automatically increase. FN Sejong achieved kills by cutting off enemy players with long-distance sniping and throwing grenades.
In the final three-way game between Daegu Gaming and Gyeongnam Revenant Nova, FN Sejong used an incredible strategy of jumping from the rooftop and hitting the enemy from behind, defeating all of them and completing a 10-kill chicken.
FN Sejong increased its chances of winning on the second day by accumulating a huge score, with a total of 80 points, twice that of the second-place match, Nongshim Red Force (40 points). Gyeonggi Nongshim Red Force fought hard in Match 4, scoring 8 kills, but was unable to overcome the damage suffered during the engagement and was wiped out early, failing to close the gap with FN Sejong.
◆DK proves Miramar’s strengths and wins the first chicken of the competition!
Dplus Kia succeeded in winning the first chicken of this tournament in Match 5 held in Miramar, once again proving its status as a ‘Mirimar powerhouse’.
D Plus Kia, which ranked first in total score without chicken in the first day of the game, created a good situation by maintaining 4 players even after winning a landslide 4-on-4 battle with Kiwoom DRX in Match 5 held in Miramar. Dplus Kia continued to capitalize on Miramar’s strengths and entered the second half of the match by adding kills without loss in each engagement.
In the final three-way match against Gyeonggi Nongshim Red Force and Daejeon Game PT, Dplus Kia put pressure on the battlefield by encouraging the remaining two teams to engage in combat. When Daejeon Game PT was annihilated by Gyeonggi Nongshim Red Force’s attack, D Plus Kia finished off Gyeonggi Nongshim’s remaining troops and succeeded in acquiring Match 5 Chicken.
Dplus Kia added 23 points with 13 kill chickens and ranked 3rd with a total of 45 points. Nongshim Red Force, who had a good position and was aiming for the chicken, unfortunately failed to get the chicken, but added 10 points to rank 2nd with 50 points. Despite only adding 3 points in match 5, FN Sejong maintained an overwhelming first place with a total of 83 points.

The main character of Match 6 Chicken, the final game of the second day held at the Miramar battlefield, was Jeonnam eSports. FN Sejong took first place on the second day despite winning three consecutive chickens in Erangel and being eliminated in Miramar for two consecutive times.
FN Sejong, which was eliminated early in Match 5, got off to an uneasy start in Match 6 due to a fatality in the early battle. FN Sejong finished off the remaining players and added only 1 point in match 6, ending the game with a final score of 84 points. Despite being eliminated early, FN Sejong virtually confirmed its win on the second day as Nongshim Red Force and Dplus Kia, which were in second and third place, were also wiped out.
The chicken of Match 6 went to Jeonnam Esports. With the last 5 teams remaining, Jeonnam had the most players surviving with 4, and in the subsequent battle, they defeated the enemy one by one, earning chicken and recording 16 kills.
FN Sejong took first place on the second day with an overwhelming score of 84 points. Gyeonggi Nongshim Red Force ranked second with 56 points. Jeonnam Esports, which added 26 points in the last 6 matches, rose to 3rd place with a total score of 53 points.

The remaining matches from Day 3 to Day 6 of the 2026 KEL Battleground Mobile finals will be held online on May 2 (Day 3), May 3 (Day 4), June 20 (Day 5), and June 27 (Day 6). The finals will be held at the Daejeon e-Sports Stadium on July 25th and 26th.
Additionally, the top 10 teams with combined scores on the first and second days of the finals were given the right to participate in the 2026 Asia e-Sports Competition (ECA) to be held in Jinju, Gyeongnam next week. Ten teams, including D Plus Kia, Gyeonggi Nongshim Red Force, FN Sejong, Gwangju QX, Daejeon Game PT, Incheon Wave, Chungnam CNJ, Jeonnam Esports, Kiwoom DRX, and Gyeongnam Revenant Nova, competed against Asian powerhouses.
Meanwhile, KEL was launched last year with the goal of nurturing local e-sports players and strengthening regional competitiveness. KEL provides players with practical experience while also nurturing professional manpower and creating jobs. This year, it will be held online and offline in three categories: Battleground Mobile, FC Mobile, and Eternal Return. Offline games will be held at local e-sports stadiums such as Busan, Gwangju, Gyeongnam (Jinju), and Daejeon.
