BETBY has recently announced a new partnership with Vibra Gaming, a prominent games and platform developer in Latin America. Vibra Gaming, known for its operations primarily in Brazil, faces potential limitations due to a possible ban on betting in the region.

As part of the collaboration, Vibra will incorporate BETBY’s comprehensive sportsbook offering, encompassing over 500,000 monthly events, including innovative AI-driven tools like AI Labs and the esports feed, Betby Games.

Partnership Enables Vibra To Venture Into Sports Betting

In a official statement, Stefanos Karakidis, Business Development Director at BETBY, expressed, “This partnership is a natural synergy. Vibra Gaming’s platform aligns with the expectations of Latin American operators, providing an ideal setting for our sportsbook to bring significant value.”

Established in Argentina in 2020, Vibra Gaming specializes in online slots and bingo games. The collaboration with BETBY opens up new avenues for Vibra Gaming to delve into the realm of sports betting.

Karakidis further elaborated, stating, “The seamless integration of our solution into Vibra’s ecosystem empowers their casino operator partners to swiftly and effectively transition into the realm of sports betting in a scalable manner.”

Tailoring Locally Relevant Games for Latin American Audience

BETBY enhanced its esports portfolio last year, which now includes 25 sports such as eVaquejada and eFootVolley. Vaquejada, a traditional Brazilian sport, involves riders on horseback chasing a bull, aiming to guide it between two horses towards a goal.

Werter Luna, CEO at Vibra Gaming, highlighted the appeal of their localized games in attracting users to the platform.

“We are particularly enthusiastic about the potential synergy between their technology, esports content, and our localized approach to elevate the player experience across Latin America,” Luna remarked.

Potential Implications of a Betting Ban in Brazil

Despite Brazil’s regulation of the gambling sector last year, an increasing number of policymakers are questioning its effectiveness. Current President Lula is advocating for a new bill to prohibit gambling activities.

“I am deeply concerned about the financial strain on the Brazilian population. If these platforms pose risks, why not shut them down? This is a matter we are seriously considering,” the 80-year-old leader stated recently.

Brazil, being the most populous country in South America, holds significant importance for Vibra Gaming. The success of their collaboration with BETBY could be influenced by the outcome of the upcoming elections.
