PUBG: Battleground (hereinafter referred to as Battleground) global competition PUBG Global Series (PGS) 3 opens on the 2nd.

PGS3 is the final race of the first circuit to be played in the circuit structure introduced for the first time this year. The first circuit of PGS is run with competition continuing from series 1 to 3, and the winning team of circuit 1 will be determined at the end of this series final competition.

In Series 1 and 2, which were previously held, new third-person perspectives, regional specialized broadcasts, and player- and fan-friendly content were applied. Accordingly, changes were made to the way the game was operated and broadcasted. In series 1, China’s Petriko Lord won the championship, and in series 2, Ukraine’s Natus Vincere came out on top.

A total of 24 teams will participate in this competition, including 12 teams from around the world and 12 teams selected through regional series. Among these, the top eight teams with cumulative points calculated by adding up the results of previous games will advance directly to the grand finals, which will begin on the 3rd. The remaining 16 teams will play the survival stage on April 2, and among them, the team that will advance to the grand final will be decided. In the grand final, 16 teams will compete to become the Circuit 1 champion.

The schedule begins with the survival stage on April 2nd at 2pm. The grand final will then run from the 3rd to the 5th. The total prize money is 300,000 dollars (about 456 million won). Participating teams will receive prize money and PGC points necessary to advance to the PUBG Global Championship (PGC). On the last day of the competition, an event called ‘Player of the Day’ will be held where fans will directly select the best player. Voting participants will be given 500 G-Coins through a drawing. In addition, a giveaway promotion is being held for streaming broadcast viewers.
