Legacy continued their winning streak by clinching the FISSURE Playground 3 title after securing victories at the CS Asia Championships and Esports World Cup. Defying the odds of 4/1, they swept G2 Esports in the final on Sunday.
Celebrating their triumph in Suzhou, Legacy took to social media with a message in Portuguese and Chinese, highlighting their success in China, where all three major titles have been won.

Prior to the tournament, FURIA were favored to defend their title at 9/4 odds, with G2 Esports at 7/2. Legacy, however, proved to be a solid choice for victory.
Latto shines as MVP
Bruno ‘latto’ Rebelatto delivered a stellar performance in the final, earning the MVP title with 69 kills and 34 deaths.

The 23-year-old described it as the best performance of his career, attributing his success to the support from Chinese fans.
” I think the crowd cheering for us is so exciting,” latto said. “Having everybody cheering for us is very good. I don’t know; it’s China magic, I think. It’s really different. We play very well here.”
China also announced that the second Counter-Strike Major of 2027 will take place in the country, which could bode well for Legacy.
Newcomer makes an impact
Legacy’s new addition, Santino ‘try’ Rigal, celebrated his first win with the team. Hailing from Argentina, he is the only non-Brazilian member.
Latto praised his contribution, stating, “He’s so consistent in his job in the game. This has helped us become a more consistent team, and that’s the key.”
The team now holds the eighth spot in the world rankings and is gearing up for the PGL Major Singapore next month, eyeing their fourth title in Asia.
G2’s drought continues
G2 Esports suffered a 3-0 defeat in the final, extending their trophyless run since BLAST London last year. Despite some standout moments, captain Nemanja ‘huNter’ Kovač’s efforts fell short.

Neither Legacy nor G2 will participate in StarLadder this week in Barcelona, where Team Vitality is the frontrunner with odds of 2/1 to clinch the title.
