Will this season be different? DN Supers defeated Kiwoom DRX and won their first LCK match.
DN defeated Kiwoom 2-0 on the second day of the LCK 1st round held at the LCK Arena at Gran Seoul LoL Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 2nd.
In the 14th minute, DN, who recorded a double during a bottom gank in the first set, had Dong-ju “Du-du” Yorick solo kill Jay-won “Rich” Lee Jae-won. DN, who was also ahead in the object category, won a major victory in the 31-minute battle over the magic engineering dragon thanks to the performance of ‘Closer’ Lee Joo-hyeon in Yone.
After clearing out the mid turret and suppressor, DN pushed out the twin turret and nexus and took a 1-0 lead.
DN suffered losses in the Void Larva battle early in the second set. However, in the three battles, ‘Pyoshik’ Hong Chang-hyeon’s Napiri played an active role and achieved a major victory and succeeded in turning the tables.
In the 24-minute object battle, Hong “Pyo-sik” Chang-hyeon recorded a quadra kill, and DN consolidated their victory with an ace. DN, who achieved a landslide victory in the one-shot fight that took place in the tower, pushed into Kiwoom’s main base and destroyed the building, ending the game.
