The showdown between Team Vitality and BC.Game Esports at IEM Atlanta 2026 attracted over 600,000 viewers simultaneously, as reported by Esports Charts.
The clash between s1mple and ZywOo drew three times more viewers than any other match on the first day.
While PGL Astana 2026 was held in Kazakhstan, IEM Atlanta 2026, another top-tier Counter-Strike 2 event, commenced on the other side of the globe. The tournament featured prominent teams like Team Vitality, Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, and BC.Game Esports.
The highlight of the day was the intense match between Vitality and BC.Game, where s1mple and ZywOo faced off. Despite a competitive series, Vitality emerged victorious with a 2-0 win.

The match became the most-watched broadcast of the day, reaching a peak of 602,068 viewers. This number was nearly three times higher than the audience for the FaZe Clan vs. paiN Gaming match, the second most popular of the day.
Apart from these matches, only one other game surpassed six-digit viewership: the Natus Vincere vs. Passion UA matchup.

Despite being in its early stages, IEM Atlanta has already matched Astana in peak viewership. While Atlanta trails Astana in average audience numbers, the Vitality vs. BC.Game match closed the gap significantly. Without that matchup, Atlanta would lag further behind.
