This 37-day online poker festival started on August 23 and will continue until September 28, featuring over 700 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal events across three regions.

Jesse Lonis and Ryan Riske Secure Early GOPC Titles

Ryan Riske, known as Gambl0r on CoinPoker, took home a victory in one of the initial high roller events, earning nearly $58,000. Riske, a CoinPoker ambassador, also operates PokerWithRiske Coaching.

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Jesse ‘DangerousGorilla22’ Lonis claimed victory in the $5,200 High Roller Opening Ceremony on August 23, pocketing $153,400 and a Gold GOPC medal.

The field of 83 players also included Patrick ‘Pads’ Leonard, Benjamin ‘Bencb’ Rolle, Seth Davies, and Alejandro ‘Papo MC’ Lococo, among other well-known players. The top 18 players finished in the money.

Lonis has now accumulated over $250,000 in winnings since joining the CoinPoker platform in January 2026.

Additionally, iloveMyHand secured approximately $63,600 in the $530 Opening Ceremony, while BlackJes took home over $52,500 from the $150 CoinMasters BITCOIN.

Discounts Introduced as CoinPoker Addresses Technical Disruption

CoinPoker has introduced GOPC discounts for members of its 3-Bet Club, offering reduced rates for eligible events such as early $55 Day 1 flights for the $1 million guaranteed Global Main.

Ambassador Mario Mosböck highlighted one of the discounts, where the $109 CoinMasters DOGE event was discounted to $89 for eligible members.

The opening night faced some challenges, with connection issues on August 23 causing temporary disruptions in multiple GOPC tournaments. Events were restarted once the issue was resolved, with the operator ensuring compensation for affected players.

The GOPC will continue until September 28, with the three headline Main Events and more high roller tournaments yet to take place.
