The Doom protagonist is set to make an appearance in what is anticipated to be the final content season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, as part of the “The Haunting” update scheduled to launch on September 17.
The appearance of the Doom Slayer character is influenced by the latest installment of the game series, Doom: The Dark Ages. Additionally, there is a Doomguy skin available that pays homage to the classic Doom games.
BFG, Crucible Blade, and Event Pass: What to Expect from the Doom Crossover
Players can look forward to iconic weapons from the Doom series such as the shotgun, Crucible Blade, and the BFG.
The Doom content will be accessible through the Event Pass starting on September 24. The free track will offer Doom-inspired extras like a UAC scientist and researcher, weapon charms, and more. Premium track users can unlock the Doom Slayer skin and weapon blueprints.
The Haunting update includes a nighttime version of the Avalon map, new spooky elements and enemies for Black Ops 7’s endgame mode, as well as limited-time multiplayer modes and new maps.
Saying Goodbye to Black Ops 7: Anticipating Modern Warfare 4
This is likely the final major update for Black Ops 7 before the series transitions to Modern Warfare 4 in October.
