Q. How do you feel about defeating T1 ‘Hoseok’ Choi Ho-seok 3-1?
Reaching the top 6 was already exciting for me. I hadn’t even considered the semifinals. I owe my victory to the support of everyone.
Q. Your opponent had immense momentum, didn’t he?
After reviewing our previous match, I knew he was in top form, particularly with dribbling and crosses. I focused on addressing my weaknesses in preparation.
Q. Your use of Drogba was impressive.
While Mbappé excels at exploiting space behind the line, Drogba’s strength lies in aerial duels. I utilized him to introduce variety, especially in extra time or as a substitute.
Q. You were eliminated in the group stage during the Spring split. What areas have you grown in since then?
I requested mental coaching from the team, which greatly benefitted me. Additionally, our team is adept at adapting to the meta, and I engaged in numerous discussions with teammates and coaches. While I supported ‘Noise’ in the last tournament, I have also absorbed the strengths of top players, leading to positive results.
Q. You are the sole survivor on your team.
There is pressure, but I view such experiences as essential for growth. I am striving to make the most of it and enjoy the journey.
Q. What do you need to improve during the remaining time to get closer to a championship?
Enhancing my composure in building up plays is crucial. By focusing on this aspect, I believe I can aim for the title with confidence.
Q. Any final words?
I am thankful to the fans, and our team has shown significant growth this year. I will dedicate myself to preparing diligently for the upcoming matches and strive for the best possible outcome.
