When taking on contracts in the latest extraction game from Bungie called Marathon, players will be tasked with visiting various locations on each map. The common theme among these contracts is the requirement to deposit specific items into devices known as DCONs, which are responsible for transporting embedded matter off the planet.
This process ensures that the salvage or resources being retrieved from the zones on Tau Ceit IV make their way back to the factions that are in need of them. Luckily, each zone (Perimeter, Dire Marsh, and Outpost) contains at least three DCONs for players to target once they have gathered the required salvage.
This detailed guide will pinpoint the exact locations of all DCONs within each zone so that players know where to head. Keep in mind that these locations won’t be visible on your map until you have discovered them. Once activated by a contract, the DCONs will then appear on your map for easy reference.

Perimeter
Perimeter boasts four DCONs, all of which are situated on the rooftops of buildings, a unique characteristic specific to this zone.
- Located just west of the North Relay, towards the top left corner of the map
- Another one can be found north of Station, towards the top right corner of the map
- On the opposite side from the North Relay DCON, there is one situated just west of Overflow
- The most remote DCON can be found far south of both South Relay and Columns
Dire Marsh
Dire Marsh is home to three DCONs, each positioned on the ground in front of the buildings they belong to.
- Situated south of Complex and east of AI Uplink, towards the bottom right corner of the map
- A DCON can be found northwest of Greenhouse, towards the upper section of the map
- Another one is located south of Quarantine, in the far western area of the map
Outpost
Outpost features three DCONs, each situated within one of the three main regions that the map is divided into.
- One can be found in Processing, located in a dock just south of the main building in the bottom left corner of the map
- Another DCON is positioned in the northeast corner of the map, nestled between Orientation and Dormitories
- The final DCON is housed inside the western hangar of Airfield, with an opening in the ceiling above it
