During the 2024 LCK Spring Split on March 10, Dplus KIA clashed with KT Rolster. Following an intense series of three games, Dplus KIA emerged victorious with a 2-1 score, securing their spot in the playoffs. The standout players for Dplus KIA in this match were Heo “ShowMaker” Su and Hwang “Kingen” Seong-hoon. They shared their thoughts with Yoon Soo-bin after their triumph.

What are your thoughts on today’s win?

ShowMaker: It’s a fantastic feeling to lock in a playoff spot early, and I’m excited to continue our winning streak.

Kingen: I’m thrilled to keep the momentum going and secure our spot in the playoffs.

There was a heated battle in the mid-lane, with both mid-laners receiving Player of the Game in Games 1 and 2. What was your strategy against Clozer?

ShowMaker: Knowing Clozer’s aggressive playstyle, especially in laning, I focused heavily on the laning phase.

Having utilized Karma extensively this season, this was your first POG with Karma. What set Game 1 apart from Game 2?

ShowMaker: In Game 1, I didn’t optimize my Mantra usage, leading to less pressure in lane. However, in Game 2, I had a strong laning phase with accurate Mantra hits, resulting in a better performance.

You achieved a pentakill with a flawless 10/0/4 KDA. How do you feel about this accomplishment?

ShowMaker: Getting a pentakill with Karma was beyond my expectations. I feel fortunate to have secured kills effectively and am elated about it.
