How do you feel about winning the 2026 LCK Cup?
Head Coach Yu “Score” Sang-uk: The team’s performance was outstanding, and I am delighted with the victory.
Kiin: We won convincingly and comfortably, which allowed us to stay focused and in control.
Canyon: Each member of the team played exceptionally well, leading to our success—and I couldn’t be happier.
Chovy: Although the result was 3–0, each set was intense and hard-fought. Winning in such a manner feels truly satisfying.
Ruler: The draft worked in our favor, and my teammates’ performance was outstanding—resulting in our victory.
Duro: BNK FEARX is a strong team, so I expected a tough match. However, things went smoother than anticipated, making the win feel clean and satisfying.
Compared to other venues, what felt different about playing here in Hong Kong?
Ruler: Unlike other venues, there were no technical issues with the setup here, which was a refreshing change.
Diable had incredible momentum. Do you think he could aim for a Worlds title in the future?
Ruler: He definitely has the potential. He’s already skilled, and I believe he can reach the pinnacle of success at Worlds someday.
You pulled off a Dragon steal today. What were you feeling in that moment?
Canyon: We were fortunate in Game 3. In Game 2, denying their first Dragon was crucial. The steal in Game 2 had a significant impact on the match.
A huge number of fans in Hong Kong were cheering for Gen.G.
Ruler: Playing an LCK event overseas for the first time, I am truly grateful for the support. Winning the upcoming First Stand Tournament is how we plan to thank the fans. We will secure the victory.
What was the key to today’s draft? And where do you think Gen.G’s strength comes from?
Head Coach Yu “Score” Sang-uk: Maintaining balance in the bottom lane was crucial. This being our first tournament together at Gen.G, each player’s understanding of their role and execution were exceptional.
BNK FEARX grew tremendously throughout this tournament. Do you think there’s a strong chance they’ll continue this level of form into the upcoming LCK regular season?
Head Coach Yu “Score” Sang-uk: They are already a formidable team, with room for further growth. Given the right circumstances, they could even qualify for Worlds.
Why did you pick Annie? You played it very well.
Chovy: With Azir off the table and mid lane picks delayed, Annie seemed like the best choice considering the current mid lane requirements.
Ultimately, Gen.G’s goal is to win Worlds. What did you feel over the course of this tournament?
Head Coach Yu “Score” Sang-uk: The players are already performing at a high level. With continued hard work and support, we aim to achieve great results.
First Stand will be held in Brazil. It’s a very long flight—how are you planning to spend the travel time?
Ruler: The long flight is daunting, but I intend to prepare by downloading entertainment. I am excited about the food and experiences awaiting us in Brazil.
Which bottom-lane duo from the LPL would you like to face?
Ruler: I look forward to challenging Bilibili Gaming and Anyone’s Legend, especially with Coach Helper present.
Do you think keeping the same roster as last year influenced this championship run?
Chovy: Both Gen.G and BNK FEARX maintained their rosters, which I believe contributed significantly to our success.
BNK FEARX are known for playing utility supports well. How did you plan to respond?
Duro: Acknowledging Kellin’s strength in utility supports, we focused on avoiding mistakes rather than outplaying them. With their bottom and jungle focus, we strategically drafted to counter their strengths.
