New details about Riftbound: The League of Legends Trading Card Game’s upcoming expansions, Riftbound: Vendetta and Riftbound: Radiance, were unveiled by Riot Games at GAMA Expo 2026.

Vendetta is set to launch on July 31st, bringing in new champions, mechanics, and Riftbound’s first two-player product, the Showdown Decks. Another expansion, Radiance, is expected to be released on October 23rd. Riftbound is Riot Games’ physical trading card game inspired by the League of Legends universe, catering to both casual and competitive TCG players.

Vendetta set introduces rivalries and new deckbuilding options

Riftbound: Vendetta will showcase rivalries across Runeterra, the world of League of Legends. The expansion will feature over 160 cards, including more than 50 Showcase cards and nine Champion Legends. Nasus, Renekton, Akali, Mel, Ambessa, Zed, and Shen are among the champions making their debut in Riftbound.

Vendetta will also introduce new domain pairings for deckbuilding, such as Fury and Calm, Mind and Body, and Chaos and Order. This shift in set structure aims to provide a deeper exploration of each champion’s archetype and gameplay identity.

Zed vs. Shen Showdown Decks debut with Vendetta

Vendetta will also introduce the Showdown Decks, Riftbound’s first two-player product. These decks feature rival champions Zed and Shen, each with a complete 56-card deck and additional booster packs.

All cards in the Showdown Decks will be available in standard booster packs. Vendetta will also add over 50 Showcase cards, highlighting rival duos like Vi and Jinx, and Jayce and Viktor.

Product offerings for the set will include Display Booster Boxes, Champion Decks, playmats, art sleeves, and the Vendetta Vault containing various items.

Riftbound: Radiance set scheduled for October

Riftbound: Radiance is set to release on October 23rd, offering a 180-card pool with more than 60 Showcase cards. The expansion will focus on themes of creativity and brilliance in Runeterra, introducing Evelynn to the game alongside Ekko and Seraphine.

Riftbound is part of Riot Games’ expansion of the League of Legends IP into various media and tabletop products, in addition to its esports ventures like the League of Legends World Championship and the VALORANT Champions Tour.
