The Legendary Horror Classic, P.T., Now Available on PC
Imagine the thrill of experiencing Hideo Kojima’s iconic horror game, P.T., on your PC, more than a decade after its initial release on PlayStation 4. Thanks to a dedicated fan and developer, LoreanXavier, this dream is now a reality with the official release of version 1.0.1 of the P.T. PC Port.
Reviving a Classic
The P.T. PC Port is not merely an emulation or recreation of the original game. Instead, it reconstructs the game logic using C++ and a custom Vulkan renderer while loading assets directly from the original PS4 game files. To enjoy this port, players must have their own dumped copy of P.T., as the project does not include any of Konami’s game data.

Modern Enhancements
In addition to preserving the original P.T. experience, the PC port introduces a range of modern features. Players can now enjoy customizable resolution and frame rate settings, with support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR 3.1/4.1, Intel XeSS, DLAA, FSR Native AA, and more. Graphics presets have been expanded to include ray-traced effects, enhanced textures, and image-quality controls, along with experimental VR support.

Impressive Performance
Our testing on a mid-range gaming laptop with an Intel Core i7-12700H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU revealed stellar performance. Running at 1080p with DLSS Super Resolution set to Quality and the Ultra preset, the game consistently achieved over 100 FPS, with frame generation technology pushing it to 200+ FPS at times.
In a gaming landscape where accessing the original P.T. has become increasingly challenging, this PC port stands out as a remarkable preservation effort for Kojima’s canceled Silent Hills teaser, now enhanced with a host of PC-specific features.
