NVIDIA recently introduced 6X Multi-Frame Generation and Dynamic FG support for the RTX 50 series during CES 2026 as part of the DLSS 4.5 suite. These advancements promise a significant performance boost in compatible games, with the original rollout scheduled for early April.

Surprisingly, Team Green has decided to launch both technologies ahead of schedule for the beta program. Learn more about this development below.

NVIDIA Multi-Frame Generation 6X and Dynamic FG Now Accessible in the Beta App

NVIDIA has initiated the distribution of new DLL files for 6X Multi-Frame Generation and Dynamic FG to the NVIDIA beta app starting today, March 31, 2026. Despite this, the stable release is still slated for April.

To explore these new technologies, interested individuals must install the latest NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready driver (version 595.79 or higher) from the official driver download page, along with the most recent version of the NVIDIA App.

Once both installations are complete, a new option labeled “Dynamic” will appear in the DLSS Override – Frame Generation Mode. Select Dynamic and adjust the multiplier to 6x. Note that this setting must be customized for each game title, as a global option is not yet available. Additionally, Dynamic FG can be utilized with 2x, 3x, or 4x multipliers.

Furthermore, to enable Multi-Frame Generation 6X and Dynamic FG, DLSS 4.5 Model M must be activated in the Override – Model Presets.

According to NVIDIA, implementing these technologies in Path Traced games could enhance performance by up to 35%. It’s worth noting that these features are exclusive to the RTX 50 series, as previous generation GPUs do not support MFG.
