The NFL and Livewire announced on Thursday that NFL Race to the End Zone LIVE, powered by Verizon, will be making its way to San Francisco during Super Bowl LX week. As the current season of this entertainment series wraps up, it will culminate in a final showdown featuring Fortnite, played across various game modes on a specially designed “Super Bowl LX Verizon-branded map.”

“The success of NFL Race to the End Zone highlights that gaming is no longer an experimental platform but a fully established, top-tier media environment. By bringing together top creators with NFL stars, we are able to capture attention that traditional advertising campaigns cannot match,” shared Livewire’s co-founder, Indy Khabra. “This tournament will showcase one of the most influential lineups ever seen competing live during Super Bowl week. Our collaboration with the NFL on this project has been groundbreaking and underscores the league’s commitment to gaming as a central entertainment focus. From stadiums to streams, this is where the next generation of fans thrives.”

The competition will be broadcast live on NFL YouTube during Super Bowl LX week in San Francisco on February 4th, from 4-7 p.m. PT. Following the event, Livewire has hinted at additional offseason content planned for the spring.

NFL Race to the End Zone LIVE features 24 players, including NFL talents like Dion Dawkins, Kendrick Bourne, Zay Flowers, Josh Metellus, and Hollywood Brown, who are teamed up with popular content creators.

The victorious team will receive a custom medallion and chain crafted by renowned sports championship ring designer, Jason of Beverly Hills, and will earn the title of NFL Race to the End Zone Season One Champion.

Livewire boasts that this series has garnered over 100 million views across NFL YouTube, talent channels, and NFL Race to the End Zone TikTok and Instagram accounts throughout 19 episodes.
