Computex 2026 is just a few months away, and we already know who will be headlining the keynotes – Jensen Huang and Lip-Bu Tan.
This Year’s Computex Event Will Set the Tone for the Evolution of the PC Industry Alongside the AI Boom
If you’re not familiar, Computex is like GTC but on a larger scale involving almost all compute manufacturers, not just NVIDIA. It’s a highly anticipated event in the tech industry, held annually in Taipei, Taiwan. According to the official announcement by Computex 2026 organizers, this year’s event promises to be packed with excitement. Intel has confirmed that CEO Lip-Bu Tan will be in attendance and delivering a keynote likely focused on consumers and AI. Similarly, NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang will also be present, as reported by Ctee.
Previous Computex events have typically focused on consumer launches during keynotes by company executives, similar to CES. However, with the rise of AI, the focus at Computex has shifted significantly towards the ‘applications’ layer of AI, covering edge, physical, open-source models, and compute infrastructure from companies like NVIDIA and AMD. This trend is likely to continue this year.
One of the highly anticipated reveals at this year’s Computex could be NVIDIA’s ARM-based laptop SoCs. These were originally set to be unveiled last year but faced delays due to design issues. Additionally, updates on Vera Rubin, Rubin Ultra, and Feynman are expected, with a special emphasis on how Taiwanese suppliers are contributing to the AI infrastructure advancements.

As for Intel, this year’s Computex could be significant with CEO Lip-Bu Tan in attendance. Expect insights into various segments of the company, including the unveiling of Nova Lake and updates on Arrow Lake Refresh on the consumer front. In the AI space, Intel’s annual product cadence may lead to the launch of the “Crescent Island” inference solution and updates on Jaguar Shores.
Computex plays a crucial role in shaping the consumer/AI industry, with keynotes from industry leaders like Jensen and Lip-Bu generating high anticipation among enthusiasts. The event is scheduled from June 2 to June 5, and with an expanded venue including Taipei Nangang Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, and the Taipei International Convention Center, a large turnout is expected.
