Overwatch is beginning Season 3 with a new twist as Blizzard takes players on a journey through a gritty, neon-lit underworld. Known as Reign of Talon Season 3: Into the Tiger’s Den, this update immerses players in a Tokyo turf war controlled by the criminal underworld.
The update introduces a new hero, Shion, who brings a unique playstyle to the game. Shion, the Omnic head of the Hashimoto Clan, is a Damage hero with a backstory of overcoming adversity to become a formidable mafia boss.
Shion’s gameplay revolves around aggressive mobility and a disdain for her enemies. Armed with dual pistols and a motorcycle that she can launch at enemies, Shion is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
The update also includes a new Hybrid map called Neon Junction, set in the nightlife districts of Tokyo. This map transitions from zone capture to payload escort, offering players a fresh setting to explore.
In addition to the new content, players can participate in the Anima Strike event and the “Community Crafted” mode, where streamers take over the balance patch to experiment with the roster.
The cosmetics department is also getting an upgrade with new Mythic and Ultra skins, offering players a chance to customize their characters in unique ways.
Overall, Season 3 of Overwatch is live now, inviting players to dive into the action-packed world of Tokyo’s criminal underworld and experience all the new content and updates.
